Day 1: Jabel Burdah Tour with overnight stay at the camp
From Wadi Rum village, we will drive you through the desert to Jebel Burdah, some 30 km to the south. This is a magnificent drive through the far valleys of Wadi Rum and crossing the beautiful and lonely White Desert. You will have a guided hike to the top, which usually takes about 2 hours. After hiking down again, your guide will start cooking your lunch, and you can rest for about 2 hours. After lunch, we drive you for about 30 min to the White Desert, where you can hike for 2 hours. Then, you will be taken to a nice spot for sunset. After sunset, you will go to the camp where you spend the second night.
Day 2: Jabel Al hash Tour with overnight stay at the camp
After breakfast, we will drive you by jeep to Jabal Al Hash, located in AL FORAH area, close to the Jordanian-Saudi Arabian border. This mountain is very easy to climb for anyone who is inexperienced or who would like a simple hike. You and your guide will start hiking from the eastern side of the mountain in the Um Snenah Valley and go through the valley to the top. Then we will take you down from the north-western side of the mountain by Wadi Nuqra. In total this hike takes approximately 5 hours. This is probably the most beautiful mountain in Wadi Rum to hike on, because when you arrive at the highest point (1700m above sea level) you will see all the different colours that encapsulate Wadi Rum. After reaching the top, you will descend the mountain, and your guide will start cooking your lunch and you can rest for 1 hour. After that, you and your guide will walk for about 3 hours around the mountain. Then, you will be taken to a nice spot for sunset. After sunset, you will go to the camp where you spend the second night.
Day 3: Jabel Um Addami Tour with overnight stay at the camp
Jabal Um Addami is the highest mountain in Jordan and is located right on the border with Saudi Arabia. If you are on top of the mountain, you can see Saudi Arabia and even the Red Sea on a clear day. Jebel Um Adaami is 1832m above sea level; by comparison, Wadi Rum village is 1000m above sea level. After breakfast, we will drive you through the desert, some 40 km south to Jebel Um Addami. This is a magnificent drive through the far valleys of Wadi Rum and crossing the beautiful and lonely Wadi Saabit. Upon arrival, you will have a guided hike to the top, which usually takes about 2 1/2 hours. You’ll hike up Jabal Um Addami, and then, after resting at the top, you’ll descend to a nice secluded area. While you rest and explore the area, your guide will start cooking your lunch. After lunch, you can hike for 2 hours. Then, you will be taken to a nice spot for sunset. After sunset, you will go to the camp where you spend the second night.
The Next morning, after breakfast, you take the shuttle to Wadi Rum village.
It’s optional to do the camel ride back from the camp to the village at 25 JD per person. Duration is about 2 hours on camels
The tour starts at 10 am on the first day. If you arrive by 12 pm, you can still join the tour. If it’s not possible to arrive early enough for the tour, you can take the tour the next morning after staying the night at our camp
From the campsite to the village, the next morning, the shuttle leaves from the campsite for the village at about 8:30 am, and it takes about 15 minutes to arrive.
If you start with the stay, on the last day you will finish the tour at 3 pm in the village.
